UX Fest, February 2022

Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, is a wonderful school known for its engineering and computer science programs. When I was studying for my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, my peers who studied degrees with clear paths to the technology industry would always ask me, “what are you going to do with a degree in psychology?” When I was asked to return to my alma mater to speak at the UX Fest, I knew that it was a wonderful opportunity to share with students exactly how psychology fits into the tech industry, and the value of bringing the psychological lens to UX Research and Design.
